A shirtless man with camouflage trousers has reportedly fled the scene of an attempted home burglary in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
The incident occurred on Main Road in Berriedale around 1pm on Monday.

Police believe the man is in his late 30s and of medium height with mid-length brown hair and some facial hair.
A spokesperson said investigations are underway.
Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have information about the incident or the man’s whereabouts.
“Information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers Tasmania. You can stay anonymous,” they said.
