A teenager is scheduled to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today after allegedly robbing a Blackmans Bay chemist while armed with a hammer.
The 15-year-old is facing serious charges for the incident, which reportedly occurred when he entered the chemist in Bayview Market around 2:20pm on Saturday.

“Police officers from Kingston responded immediately and the offender was located and arrested within 30 minutes,” a spokesperson said.
“The hammer and stolen property were also recovered.”
While the staff member walked away from the incident without any physical injuries, they were left “understandably shaken”.
