A person has been arrested and a children’s event cancelled following a police operation in West Ulverstone.
Tasmania Police confirmed the arrest was made shortly before noon on Thursday, saying there was “no risk to the public” during the incident.

Police were called to the West Ulverstone area at around 11:30am following what they described as an isolated incident.
The Ulverstone Neighbourhood House on Lugana Crescent announced the postponement of their children’s colour run event due to the “police operation”.
“We look forward to having our colour run next week along with some Easter activities,” they said.
