The body of a missing young Tasmanian bushwalker has been recovered this morning after an extensive search.
The body of the 28-year-old Hobart man was found by crews from Ambulance Tasmania and the State Emergency Service on Thursday afternoon.

He had reportedly slipped and fallen while walking the track on Wednesday, with other walkers raising concerns as a result.
Police said the man’s family had been notified and thanked the other walkers for their assistance.
“Their concern for a fellow walker ensured searchers were able to quickly deploy to the scene,” a police spokesperson said.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man at this difficult time.”
