A burst water main has forced the closure of the East Tamar Highway at Long Reach.
The road is currently shut in both directions around 10 minutes from George Town as water gushes from the main, leaving motorists facing delays.

Police are on the scene and have closed the highway while TasWater attends to the issue.
Motorists are advised to approach with caution or seek an alternate route if necessary.
