A car that has left the road and smashed into the centre barrier is blocking the Tasman Highway at Mornington this afternoon.
Police say the single vehicle crash just past the Dampier Street overpass has left the right-hand lane heading towards Hobart blocked.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area or anticipate delays until the scene is cleared.
No serious injuries have been reported.
