A driver has been captured on camera engaging in dangerous hooning behaviour on the Huon Highway overnight.
CCTV from the Grove Store shows two vehicles doing several burnouts in the 80km/h stretch of highway at the intersection of Mountain River Road just after midnight.

Other vehicles were seen driving through the smoke from the burnouts just moments later.
Tyre marks and debris were left visible across the intersection today, with police now investigating the incident.
“Police are aware of the incident and are making inquiries – anyone with information should contact Police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800333000,” a police spokesperson told Pulse.
