Police have cordoned off a house in north-west Tasmania “as part of an ongoing investigation into a potential assault”.
Multiple officers were seen at the property on Thursday following an incident that reportedly occurred over four days ago.

“Police were called after a person sought medical attention on Tuesday, following an alleged incident on Sunday,” a spokesperson told Pulse.
“A crime scene has been declared. “However, there is no risk to the wider community.”
“The person was initially taken to the North West Regional Hospital before being transferred to the Royal Hobart Hospital, where they remain in a stable condition.”
