Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire that completely destroyed a house at Claremont last night.
Emergency services were called to the Cadbury Road address around 8:40pm on Monday after reports of a house on fire.

Tasmania Fire Service crews extinguished the fire, which had fully engulfed the house, police said.
A fire scene examination is being undertaken, with the fire believed to have been deliberately lit.
“Anyone with information in relation to the fire, or suspicious activity in the area around the time is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers Tasmania on 1800 333 000 or at crimestopperstas.com.au,” police said.
“Information can be provided anonymously.”
