A subsequent breath analysis test revealed a reading of 0.231, more than four times the legal limit.

The man has been charged with several drink driving related offences and released on bail to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court in January 2025.

“Getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol is dangerous and puts other road users at risk,” police said.

“Thankfully no one was seriously injured during this crash.”
