A driver has walked away without injury after crashing their van while travelling along the Channel Highway in Taroona on Friday afternoon.
The incident partially blocked the highway around 4pm as emergency services worked to secure the van, which had rolled several metres down a hill.

After smashing through a fence, the van came to a stop in a tree, preventing what would have been a long roll to the bottom of the steep slope.
The driver walked away from the crash unscathed and no injuries were reported, police said.
The van was tethered to a tree and will be removed at a later time.
The road reopened just after 5:30pm.
