Firefighters have contained a small blaze that broke out in the kitchen of the Mount Field Visitor Centre this morning.
Crews from Westerway, Ellendale, Gretna and New Norfolk responded to the incident around 4am on Saturday.

A Tasmania Fire Service spokesperson said firefighters found a “small fire” upon arrival and were able to gain access and extinguish the fire quickly.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
“Further information will be provided when available,” the spokesperson said.
