Firefighters have been called out to a late night structure fire incident inside the Hobart Airport terminal tonight.
The Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) say crews from Clarence, Cambridge and Midway Point were called to the terminal, alongside Aviation Rescue & Fire Fighting.

“A worker onsite that advised there was a fire in a kitchen at the southern end of the terminal building,” a TFS spokesperson said in a statement to Pulse.
Firefighters found there “had been a fire in a switchboard” prior to their arrival and are now working to determine the next steps.
The incident was reported after airport operations had largely finished for the night and is believed to have had no impact on travellers.
