The first two stops of the JackJumpers’ ‘Thank You Tasmania’ tour have been revealed off the back of their historic NBL Championship win.

“Island defended,” coach Scott Roth said after the Tasmania JackJumpers, who joined the league just three seasons ago, secured their first NBL title with an 83-81 victory over Melbourne United in Game 5.

After filling Hobart’s MyStateBank Arena with post-game day celebrations on Easter Monday, some of the team will travel north with their trophy this weekend.

“We are thrilled to announce the trophy is headed to the North/North-West,” the team confirmed on Thursday.

“Supported by the Tasmanian Government, we look forward to thanking our supporters whilst showcasing the Championship Trophy.”

The Elphin Sports Centre will be abuzz from 3 pm on Saturday, April 6, while Devonport’s Paranaple Centre will welcome the trio at 11 am on Sunday, April 7.
