A Hobart thief who stole close to $200K worth of jewellery from a Salamanca store has been arrested and charged by Police this afternoon.
The 39-year-old man from Clarendon Vale was found to be behind ‘multiple significant thefts’, and was arrested after allegedly committing another burglary at a Sandy Bay supermarket today, where he targeted tobacco products.

Police say a majority of custom jewellery from the Salamanca heist is still missing, and ask for anyone with information that could lead to its recovery to contact them.
