The JackJumpers have announced Head Coach Scott Roth ‘will finish his career in Tasmania’, inking a contract extension to remain at the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.
“We’re pleased to announce Scott’s commitment to the club for the next 3 seasons and to continue to build sustained success for the club both on and off the court,” CEO Christine Finnegan said.
“Scott’s new contract gives us stability as the club grows beyond its infancy and supports the very positive discussions around new ownership”.
Finnegan said the team’s participation, corporate, member and fan engagement are at an all-time high and they are grateful for Scott’s involvement in achieving success.
“Scott’s coaching record speaks for itself, but it is also the work he has done off the court contributing to all pillars of our business that have contributed to this decision,” she said.
The JackJumpers are currently 3rd on the NBL ladder, ahead of round 16 where Tasmania will face Melbourne United this Friday night.
