A man has been seriously injured after an explosion in the Derwent Park area of Hobart this afternoon.
Police say the man in his 50s was working in the hull of the boat in Gepp Parade when the explosion occurred.

“He has received serious burns and was transported to the RHH.”
Investigations are continuing into the cause of the explosion, which only caused minor damage to the boat.
