A man wanted over child abuse allegations for more than 12 months has been extradited from Queensland to Tasmania.
The 31-year-old was arrested on the Gold Coast on Wednesday by Queensland Police, assisted by detectives from Kingston CIB.

He appeared in Southport Magistrates Court in Queensland on Thursday and an order was made for his return to Tasmania.
The man touched down in Hobart on Friday and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court over the weekend.
Police did not provide any further details about the specific allegations against the man.
