A car found submerged in the Derwent River has left locals puzzled and authorities investigating today.
The small white vehicle was discovered at Cornelian Bay this morning, sparking questions about how it ended up in the water.

Tasmania Police are working to identify the owner and to remove the vehicle from the water, but could not say why the car was in the Derwent.
