A 26-year-old man and 25-year-old woman from Penguin are facing multiple charges for motor vehicle stealing, stealing, evading police, drug matters, breaches of bail and driving while unlicensed.

According to police, so far this year, 986 drink drivers, 802 disqualified and unlicensed drivers and 3,524 speeding drivers have been caught in the north-west alone.

“We will continue to take strong action statewide to ensure those disobeying the road rules and putting lives at risk will be held accountable,” police said.
