A newly built toilet block at the Campbell Town Recreation Centre has been damaged in a suspected arson attack.
The vandalised facility is now out of order, leaving the central Tasmanian town’s families, sports teams and visitors inconvenienced.

The Northern Midlands Council said the “senseless act” included a fire being lit in a rubbish bin and the complete destruction of a soap dispenser.
“Repairs will be costly and time-consuming, diverting resources from other important community projects,” a spokesperson said.
“If you have any information about this incident, please contact Tasmania Police or the council office.”
