A person has been taken into custody following an incident in Hobart’s CBD this afternoon.
Police were called to Elizabeth Street just before 2pm on Friday after reports of a physical altercation.

A spokesperson said two people known to each other received non-life-threatening injuries in the incident and are assisting police with their enquiries.
“There is no threat to the wider community,” the spokesperson said.
