A person has reportedly been injured after they were hit by a vehicle in Launceston.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Queechy Road at Penquite Road around 3pm on Tuesday.

Police at the scene said the crash involved a vehicle and a person, but did not say whether the person was a pedestrian or a cyclist.
A spokesperson said that “no serious injuries have been reported”.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area for a short time while the scene was cleared.
The crash occurred in the vicinity of Queechy High School.
