Police have seized 10 kilograms of cannabis following a raid on a home north-west of Burnie.
The Western Drug and Firearm Unit, Taskforce Scelus, the Dog Handler unit and Burnie Uniform squad found the large amount of dry cannabis bud ready for sale during a search of a Montumana property on Wednesday.

A “comprehensive” hydroponic setup for growing cannabis was also found at the address, estimated to be worth around $50,000 and cash believed to be the proceeds of crime.
A 51-year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking, selling and cultivating a controlled plant.
He was granted bail and will appear in Burnie Magistrates Court in September.
