A gun, taser and knifes have been seized from two people caught speeding down the Bass Highway.
The pair, a 43-year-old woman from Devonport and a 36-year-old man from Port Sorell, were stopped while driving a Suzuki Swift near Don on Thursday.

A search of the vehicle following the traffic stop also uncovered ammunition, a small quantity of methamphetamine and a baton.
Both individuals are scheduled to appear in court at a later date on various charges related to the incident.
In addition to the weapons seizure, the traffic operation also resulted in the detection of 25 speeding drivers.
Police said 19 of them were exceeding the speed limit by between 15km/h and 29km/h.
