A man from Berriedale has been arrested after allegedly performing burnouts on a Hobart road.
The 44-year-old is accused of spinning his tyres and creating a large amount of smoke while driving recklessly on Berriedale Road north of the city on Tuesday afternoon.

Police allege the man was also doing burnouts in a residential driveway.
“This manner of driving puts people at risk,” police said.
The man has since been taken into custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Glenorchy Police on 131 444 and quote 172-07012025,” police said.
