An ATV rider has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after they reportedly “went over a bank” in Tasmania’s north-east.
Police and other emergency services were called to the incident on private property in Lilydale just after 2pm on Tuesday.

The rider was the only person on the vehicle at the time of the crash.
A police spokesperson said the rescue helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the rider to hospital for treatment.
