Road closed as firefighters respond to structure fire in Moonah

Firefighters are responding to a structure fire in Moonah this afternoon.

Tasmania Fire Service crews from Hobart and Glenorchy were called to the Hopkins Street address just before 4pm on Tuesday.

Tasmania Police have closed the road between Gormanston Street and Central Avenue.

“Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area until the scene is cleared,” police said.
