Significant delays are expected to impact motorists travelling through Midway Point this morning, as a crash between multiple vehicles blocks the causeway.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the smash between the golf course and Midway Point around 10am on Monday.

The east-bound lane is blocked and the extent of injuries is unknown at this stage, police said.
Motorists have been told to expect lengthy delays and should avoid the area while the scene is cleared.
An alternative route is available via Richmond and Brinktop Road.
Updated 11:10am Monday, May 13: The crash has now been cleared.
Police did not report any serious injuries.
