A Tasmanian TV host has been left in stitches while presenting a story about farts during the 7 Tasmania Nightly News bulletin on Friday night.
Kim Millar struggled to contain her laughter as she read through the report on a CSIRO study, which aims to learn more about gut health by tracking flatulence habits.

The study encourages Australians to measure the sound, volume and odour of their ‘trouser trumpets’.
“The information can be recorded onto an app,” Millar said as she struggled to hold back laughter.
“It’s hoped the findings,” she chuckled before pausing.
“I’m sorry the studio crew have lost it!”
“It’s hoped the findings will help determine what’s normal and what’s not.”
