A teenage girl accused of assaulting three police officers last month has allegedly attacked two more officers this week.
In June, the 16-year-old reportedly assaulted the officers by kicking them and pulling their hair after they approached her in the Hobart CBD.
She was found to be in possession of two cheese knives and charged with assaulting police, resisting police, unlawful possession of property and bail related offences.
On Monday, during a disturbance on Liverpool Street, she allegedly pushed one police officer and kicked another twice in the leg.
The young girl was arrested shortly before 5pm and held in custody to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court the following day.
“Behaviour such as this won’t be tolerated by Tasmania Police,” Inspector John Toohey said.
The officers involved did not require medical treatment.
