A person has died following a “fire incident” on a street in greater Hobart this morning.
Police and emergency services responded to the incident on Tenth Avenue in West Moonah around 5am on Thursday.

The road remains closed to all traffic between Garden Grove and Sixth Avenue, with motorists urged to avoid the area.
Authorities say the situation is “contained” and there is no risk to the public.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
