Department store TK Maxx has announced that it will be opening its first Tasmanian location in June.
The Northgate store, which will be the 77th TK Maxx store to open in Australia since the company arrived in 2017, will feature brands from all over the world and will employ around 50 staff from the local area.
TK Maxx is known for offering big brands at small prices across a wide range of products, including women’s, men’s, and kids’ fashion, shoes, accessories, beauty, toys, and homewares.
“We are thrilled to answer the call to open our first store in Tasmania,” said Tony Dunseath, a spokesperson for TK Maxx Australia.
“We’re incredibly excited for Hobart shoppers to enjoy the unique TK Maxx experience of shopping big brands at small prices.
“TK Maxx stores offer an ever-changing assortment of merchandise at incredible value, so there will always be something fresh and exciting to discover on every visit.”
The store will occupy 1,800 square meters of space and will be located in one of the most popular shopping destinations in Hobart.
