Tasmania Fire Service crews were called to the Fulton Street address around 4am on Thursday, finding the property “fully involved” upon arrival.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring properties, but the house was left with an estimated $180,000 damage.
A fire investigation has since determined that the blaze was deliberately lit, police say.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Launceston CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
Fulton Street was closed for several hours while emergency services responded to the incident.
