Wife accompanies alleged attempted kidnapper as he faces Hobart Magistrates Court

A Hobart man accused of trying to abduct a young person near Queens Domain has re-appeared in court.

60-year-old Geoffrey Ross Brendan Goss was accompanied by his wife as he faced the Hobart Magistrates Court on Wednesday over the incident.

Goss’ lawyer asked for an adjournment on the matter while full disclosure was sought from police.

An extension of his bail conditions was granted, with the matter adjourned until December 10.

As reported by Pulse at the time, police responded to reports of a man attempting to force a youth into a vehicle near the Domain shortly after 8pm on September 25.

“The youth was not physically injured and provided a detailed version of events including the man’s number plate,” police said.

“Police located and arrested the man a short time later.”
