1,500 without power on east coast as crews investigate cause

Over 1,500 homes on the east coast are currently without power this morning.

According to TasNetworks, the outage is affecting over 1,500 customers in Cranbrook, Dolphin Sands, Little Swanport, Orford, Pontypool, Rocky Hills, Swansea and Triabunna.

The cause of the blackout is unknown at this stage, with crews on their way to investigate.

An estimated restoration time has not yet been provided.
