A young man from New Norfolk has been charged with grievous bodily harm after he allegedly ran over another man with his vehicle on a street in the Derwent Valley town last week.
The incident occurred on Burnett Street around 7:20pm on Monday, October 14, with police alleging the 23-year-old was behind the wheel of the vehicle.

Police said the victim, known to the suspect, suffered “significant injuries” in the incident.
They are currently receiving medical attention in hospital.
The man has also been charged with failing to stop.
He is scheduled to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Wednesday evening.
