Police say there is currently severe traffic congestion in the southbound lanes at New Town as a result of the crash.

This year is the 43rd annual Toy Run in support of the Salvation Army, with drivers en-route to the Mac Point Carpark to collect toys and other gifts for families in need at the time of the crash.
