Firefighters in Tasmania’s north-west are battling a blaze that has completely destroyed a home at Rocky Cape.
The blaze on Pollards Road was reported to authorities just before 3:30pm on Friday.

Crews from Montumana, Boat Harbour, Wynyard, Stanley and Sisters Beach arrived to find the “burning remains of a house”.
It is not yet known whether the home was occupied at the time of the fire.
The blaze is the second to be reported in the area in recent weeks, after a grandmother lost her home just days before her 80th birthday.
