Tasmania’s JackJumpers have achieved a record-breaking win against the Adelaide 36ers at Hobart’s MyStateBank Arena.
Sunday’s 109-86 victory marked the team’s fourth consecutive win against Adelaide and set a new record for their most ever points scored in a game.
The crucial victory has solidified the JackJumpers number 3 position on the NBL ladder.
The team held a 12-point lead at halftime, with all eyes on Will Magnay, who had suffered an elbow to the ribs in an earlier game.
“We were just pretty level headed and on point right from the beginning and set a really good tone with our defence early on .. we ended up winning all four quarters,” Coach Scott Roth said at a post-game conference.
“These guys (JackJumpers) responded fantastic … an unbelievable game.”
Tasmania’s next game is scheduled against the South East Melbourne Phoenix on February 10th.
