Tasmanians in the west and south of the state can expect thunderstorms tomorrow off the back of what was a wet weekend.
Forecasters say a weak ridge will develop on Monday ahead of the front, which is expected to cross the state on Tuesday.
In Hobart, showers and possible rainfall are to be expected in the morning and afternoon, with the chance of a thunderstorm most likely in the afternoon.
Similar conditions are predicted for the west coast, with a very high chance of showers expected.
Despite the stormy outlook, Hobart is set to stay warm for the rest of the week, hovering around 24 degrees until Sunday.
Launceston will also experience a mild week, with temperatures averaging between 24 and 27 degrees.
The forecast comes as several flood warnings remain in place across the state.
They include a moderate flood warning for the South Esk River and minor flood warning for the St Pauls River.
An initial minor flood warning has been issued for the Macquarie River and minor flood warnings for the North Esk, Ouse and Clyde Rivers.
