The Bass Highway is partially blocked following a crash involving two trucks near Sassafras this morning.
The northbound lane is closed to all traffic as a result of the crash, with motorists being diverted along Cutting Road.

Police say one southbound lane is also blocked and emergency services are on the scene.
“The driver of the truck has received serious injuries,” police said.
“[They have] been transported to the Launceston General Hospital…”
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time or seek alternative routes.
