The winning ticket was sold at Derwent Park Newsagency in Hobart, scoring $1,048,013.90.

Owners Glenn Commane and James Warburton said they “nearly passed out” when they found out their outlet had sold the winning entry.

“Our last division one winning entry was a few years ago now and it’s great to know that luck has come our way,” Commane said.

“There’s no doubt we’ll be asking all of our customers to check their tickets to see if they’re the mystery winner we’re searching for.”

A spokesperson from The Lott said they hoped the winner would check their ticket soon.

“This winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve become a newly minted millionaire in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” the spokesperson said.
