A man from the state’s north-west has been charged with possessing child exploitation material.
The 57-year-old was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his residence.

He has been charged with one count of possessing child exploitation material and is set to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court in May.
Tasmania Police were unable to provide further details, but said the “investigation is ongoing”.
