Over 100 homes in the Derwent Valley are without power this afternoon after a crash brought down powerlines.
The collision at the intersection of Church and Boyer Roads in Dromedary has caused extensive damage to the electrical infrastructure.

Emergency services are on the scene and have diverted traffic around the area while crews work to repair the damaged lines.
The TasNetworks website estimates that power will be restored by 8pm tonight.
