Police called after teen girl throws chips and chargers at customer in Kingston BP incident

A teenage girl has been caught on camera throwing bags of chips and phone chargers at a customer inside a Kingston BP store.

The incident unfolded around 8pm on Thursday night, with police called to the Channel Highway area after receiving a report of five youths “causing a nuisance”.

Footage of the incident shows the girl kicking over a display stand as she storms through the store, with other young people watching on.

A witness told Pulse the group became angry when they were told to leave the store by a staff member.

Police said officers spoke to the group of youths but laid no charges.

The teenagers were instead given a formal direction to leave the area for a period of time, which they complied with.
