The incident at the makeshift campground, which is home to several tents, is understood to have involved three people.
Those involved were known to each other, police said.
A witness told Pulse one person had been handcuffed and another had been placed in the back of a police vehicle.
They said a woman was allegedly hurling obscenities at the others involved as she assisted police with their enquiries.
A police spokesperson said no serious injuries were reported in the incident.
“The matter is being investigated,” a spokesperson said.
