Pyengana cheddar to hit supermarket shelves across four states

Tasmanian cheese producer Pyengana Dairy is expanding its reach across the country, with its award-winning Traditional cheddar soon to be available at 182 supermarkets in four states.

From October 14th, cheese lovers in Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland will be able to find the artisan cheese on the shelves of their local Coles.

TasFoods CEO Joshua Fletcher called the deal a “great achievement” and highlighted its timing as the festive season approaches.

“This is a major step as part of the growth strategy of the Pyengana Dairy cheese business and brand,” he said.

“We look forward to consumers being able to enjoy our much-loved Pyengana Dairy Traditional cheddar cheese through the festive period and hope to be able to expand our ranging with Coles over time”.

The company is also working towards obtaining full export accreditation, aiming to open up even more opportunities for the popular Tasmanian cheese.
