Locals in the Huon Valley reported feeling the shaking, with one telling Pulse it was like a train had just passed by their house.

“Our glasses in our cabinets rattled twice at Port Huon,” one local wrote online.

“I thought I was going insane because I’m the only one in the house that did feel it,” said another.

There are no immediate reports of damage.
