The Glenorchy Rowing Club crew were rowing near MyState Bank Arena around 6:45 AM when they heard the dog owner’s cries for help.

The rowers quickly sprang into action, and after some effort, they managed to grab the wallaby and bring it onto the boat.

The wallaby was then taken to the vet to be dried off, warmed up, and treated for swallowing water.

After receiving treatment, the wallaby will be transported to a wildlife park for further rehabilitation.

The rowers are just happy they were in the right place at the right time and were able to rescue the wallaby!

Absolute Tassie legends!!
